MBHS Institute
Student Conduct, Professional Behavior & Harassment Policy Notice
MBHS Institute is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, professional, and inclusive learning environment for all students, faculty, staff, patients, clients, and affiliated partners.
All students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times, whether interacting in person, by telephone, through email, text messaging, social media, online learning platforms, clinical settings, or any other Institute-related environment.
Prohibited Conduct
The following behavior is strictly prohibited:
Professional Conduct Expectations
Students are expected to communicate concerns appropriately and professionally. Disagreements with faculty, staff, classmates, or Institute decisions do not justify threatening, abusive, hostile, or disrespectful behavior.
Students should address concerns through the appropriate administrative or academic channels and are expected to remain respectful throughout the process.
Disciplinary Action
Violations of this policy may result in immediate disciplinary action, up to and including removal or withdrawal from the student's chosen program.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable Institute procedures, MBHS Institute may take immediate steps to protect the safety and integrity of the learning environment while a matter is reviewed.
Serious misconduct—including sexual harassment, threats, intimidation, abusive conduct, or behavior that creates a safety concern—may result in immediate removal from the relevant educational or clinical environment and may lead to dismissal from the program.
Nothing in this notice limits MBHS Institute's ability to take additional action when required by law, institutional policy, contractual obligations, or the circumstances of a particular incident.
No Retaliation
MBHS Institute prohibits retaliation against students or others who make a good-faith report of harassment, discrimination, threats, or other misconduct, or who participate in an institutional review or investigation.
Acknowledgment
By participating in an MBHS Institute program, students are expected to understand and comply with these standards of conduct. Professionalism, respect, and appropriate communication are fundamental requirements of participation in the Institute's programs.
MBHS Institute reserves the right to take appropriate disciplinary action when conduct violates this policy or other applicable Institute requirements.
